At a glance
No Walk to Slop account. No advertising trackers. No Walk to Slop health-data server. Walk to Slop is designed to work on your iPhone and paired Apple Watch. Kasunjith Hettiarachchi publishes Walk to Slop and can be contacted at lasan@alertforge.ai.
This policy covers the Walk to Slop app and this support website. Walk to Slop turns activity into entertainment time, with optional app guardrails. You choose which permissions to grant and which features to use.
Activity & Health
- On iPhone: Walk to Slop reads permitted step totals from Apple Health and uses Motion & Fitness activity signals for movement features.
- On Apple Watch: during a workout you explicitly start, Walk to Slop uses live heart rate and workout duration to calculate zone-based rewards. If you grant access, it can read date of birth from Health to estimate maximum heart rate.
- Workouts in Apple Health: completed Watch workouts are saved to Apple Health. Associated health samples may be retained by Apple Health. Walk to Slop’s temporary iPhone Live Walk workout is discarded rather than saved as a completed Health workout.
Walk to Slop does not upload your Health or Motion data to a Walk to Slop server, use it for advertising, or sell it. Health storage, backup, and iCloud sync are controlled by Apple and your settings.
Optional Screen Time
If you choose app guardrails, Apple’s Family Controls framework gives Walk to Slop privacy-preserving tokens representing your selections. Walk to Slop uses these tokens with Managed Settings and Device Activity to apply your chosen limits and sessions.
Walk to Slop does not read messages, feeds, browsing content, or other content inside selected apps. It does not decode selection tokens into readable app identities. Group names, schedules, selection counts, and custom shield text you set are part of your local configuration.
Local storage & sync
Walk to Slop stores preferences, rules, app-group configuration, selected-app tokens, daily step and credit totals, aggregate heart-zone time, earning and spending transactions, and session records on your device. Raw heart-rate samples and date of birth are not kept in Walk to Slop’s permanent progress ledger.
The iPhone app and its extensions share the local information needed to coordinate guardrails and sessions. Widgets and Live Activities can display your balance, steps, group name, and session state on device surfaces you enable. Your paired iPhone and Watch exchange reward-related information such as zone, duration, timestamps, event identifiers, rules, and Premium status. That sync does not contain raw heart-rate samples or date of birth.
Device backups and Apple Health sync may preserve relevant data according to your Apple settings. Walk to Slop does not provide its own cloud account or remote ledger.
Purchases & diagnostics
Apple processes in-app purchases and subscriptions. Walk to Slop uses purchase transactions and entitlement status to enable Premium. Walk to Slop does not receive your payment-card details.
Walk to Slop uses Apple system logging and MetricKit for local diagnostics. It does not include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting service or send those diagnostic payloads to a Walk to Slop server. Apple may process platform, purchase, and diagnostic information under its own policies and your device settings.
Exports & support email
You can prepare a local JSON export and choose where to share it. The export can contain earning rules, daily totals, earning and spending transactions, sessions, and app-group metadata, including names, selection counts, schedules, and custom shield text. It excludes raw heart-rate samples, date of birth, selected-app tokens, and content from other apps.
Exporting does not send your data to the publisher automatically. Review the file before sharing; your chosen recipient or service controls its copy.
If you email lasan@alertforge.ai, the information you choose to send, your email address, and the correspondence are used to answer your request. Avoid sending sensitive health records or unnecessary personal information. Email is handled through the publisher’s email provider and may be retained as needed to resolve support requests or meet legal obligations.
Retention & deletion
Walk to Slop keeps up to 400 daily summary rows. Earning and spending transactions and session records remain in the local ledger until you delete your progress history. Use You → Privacy and local data → Delete local progress history to clear that history while retaining app-group and subscription configuration. If Health permission remains enabled, today’s steps may be read again and current activity can create new records.
Deleting the app removes its app container; related device backups and shared data may be governed by iOS. Apple Health workouts, health samples, and purchase records are managed separately in Apple’s apps and account settings. Deleting Walk to Slop history does not delete those records, previously shared copies, or cancel a subscription.
You can revoke Health, Motion & Fitness, and Screen Time permissions in Apple’s settings. Contact us for help with support correspondence or privacy requests. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete a Walk to Slop ledger that remains solely on your device.
